2. Precedent Images
These are images from Doshi and Levien's cookware for Tefal. They were approached to design an line of cookware which focused on Eastern cooking methods. This image is their design of the Tefal center circle. The thing which interested me about this image was the geometric pattern and the culture that these patterns can represent.

Layout Ideas

I’ve recently finished my 81 iterations. I have gone over the limit so what I need to do now is to think of a layout and display style which communicates my 3 words and pictures that I have used for my design influences. The big influences which come through in my iterations are symmetry and patterns which I think I could easily make into an interesting layout.

Interesting Designs

While completing my eighty one iterations I came across some interesting cultural designs.

For these iterations I used skew and twist on the rear models then used a variety of symmetry tools to create designs which I believe look like cultural masks or something of a tribal nature.

3DS Max Progress

I traced through a section of the mosaic in Solid Works and brought it into 3DS Max.

I have been playing around with the twist and symmetry tools to create more geometric patters.

Here are a few screenshots of my work so far. I like how they still have and oriental/cultural aesthetic to them.
